Mount Lofty to Gumeracha
Spot wildlife at Cleland Wildlife Park and see Adelaide from Mount Lofty Summit. Stop at Mount Lofty Botanic Garden for a picnic lunch. Finish with a food platter and wine at Chain of Ponds Winery. 

Stirling to Hahndorf

Have coffee in Stirling and walk along the beautiful main street. Eat lunch at the Stirling Hotel and stroll through St Githa’s Garden in Bridgewater.

Go to Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary and see kangaroos, koalas and wallabies. Overindulge at Chocolate @ No.5 in Hahndorf. Celebrate German heritage and eat a hearty meal at the Hahndorf Inn. Try local foods at Beerenberg Strawberry Farm and Udder Delights cheese cellar. Tour The Cedars, the historic home of Australian landscape artist, Sir Hans Heysen. 

Mount Barker to Jupiter Creek

Explore shops, cafés and pubs on Mount Barker’s historic Gawler Street. Have lunch and meet the locals at Macclesfield’s Three Brothers Arms hotel. Drink wine and admire the view at Longview Vineyard. Shop for antiques in Meadows. Hike through Kuitpo Forest and listen for yellow-tailed black cockatoos. Visit the ruins of the old Jupiter Creek Gold Mine. 

Hahndorf to Birdwood

Visit award-winning wineries, like Nepenthe, Shaw + Smith and Bird in Hand. Buy home-made apple pies and fresh fruit at The Old Apple Shed. Eat dessert at Cocolat in Balhannah. Sample cheese at Woodside Cheese Wrights.

Eat lunch and drink award-winning beer at Lobethal Bierhaus. Buy art and produce at Lobethal’s Adelaide Hills Market. Climb Gumeracha’s Big Rocking Horse, the biggest in the world! See old cars and more at Birdwood’s National Motor Museum.
